Music, Art and Emotions

Hi everyone!!

In grade 4 we have been learning many things about emotions, emotions in comics and emotions in real life...And now, we have learnt how music affects our emotions and how this is reflexed in Art.
We also have learnt how to say our emotions in English: I'm sad, I'm happy, I'm so happy, I'm stressed, I'm surprised, I'm apprehensive, I'm scared, I'm relaxed, I'm quiet, I'm nervous and a long etc.. We are full of emotions!!.

Natural drawing

Hi Year 3!!
Yesterday, we made a drawing of the school and we practiced the natural drawing technique. It was a bit difficult, not only because it was the first time we did it...the weather was not very nice with us, it was windy, then sunny, then cloudy. Despite all this you did a fantastic job.

Hello Year 3!

After a long long... waiting, we already know what are we going to do with all the recycled materials!!. We are going to build a spaceship!. Theresa and Magda, two students from Austria, have very kindly helped us to organize all the materials. After that, we have been thinking on: how are we going to build it? What materials are we going to use? Should we draw a previous plan of the spaceship? etc.. Here you have the sketch of one of the students.

Here we have a tiny display of your works!.

Students in Year 3 have been studying colors for some weeks. One of the last project was aimed to decorate the class with Autumn leaves.

Students in year 4 have learnt a lot about lanscapes and they have created their own landscape using the collage technique.
